During a brief interview with reporters on Saturday at his voting location, PU 019, Umudimakasi Square, Peter Obi said he won’t disappoint Nigerians because they are the ones supporting his presidential ambition.
The former Anambra governor said the first thing he will do if elected president is to “thank God” for the victory that he achieved under eight months after joining Labour Party.
When asked if he will be willing to work with the opposition if he happen to loose, he said, “No it won’t come to that but I am not looking for job, I am very contented person.”
“I want to show compassion. I want to help pull people out of poverty. When I was governor, I was governor because God wanted me to be governor,” he added.
Peter Obi went on to assure the journalists and supporters that people would still be able to take pictures with him when he becomes the president.
KanyiDaily recalls that former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ifu Ennada had threatened to end her friendship with anyone who doesn’t vote for Peter Obi today.
