As a result of the ongoing economic chaos in the country, protesters took to the gate of the University of Ibadan on Monday morning to express their dissatisfaction over the situation.
The protesters were said to have blocked the institution’s gate.
Their actions prevented vehicular movement and other activities.
Reports say a student of the institution confirmed the protest and said soldiers and Operation Burst officers had arrived on the scene.
Kanyi Daily understands that Nigeria is currently bedeviled with biting naira and fuel scarcity.
Recall that a few days ago, a similar protest had broken out in Benin City of the economic challenge in the country.
