Inimitable Statesman – APC Celebrates Tinubu At 71

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has celebrated Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 71st birthday anniversary.

Tinubu clocked 71 years of age on Wednesday, March 29th.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka, APC described the former Lagos state governor as an “inimitable statesman” with an “unyielding quest for a freer, more just and vibrant Nigeria.”

According to the APC statement, as a democrat and true progressive, Tinubu has built bridges that transcend ethnic, religious, and political boundaries, and inspired many to embrace those things that unite Nigerians as one people than divide them.

The ruling party prayed to God to renew Tinubu’s strength and commitment to improving the living conditions of Nigerians.

The statement reads, “Your message of Renewed Hope was heard by our noble citizens who voted massively to elect you as the next President in the just-concluded election.

“We pray that Almighty God will renew your strength and commitment to demonstrably improving the living conditions of our people.

“As you mark your 71st birthday anniversary, the Sen. Abdullahi Adamu-led National Working Committee (NWC), leaders, members, and stakeholders of our great party, join your well-wishers, at home and abroad, in praying to God to grant Your Excellency many more years in excellent health and divine wisdom in your illustrious service to our country and humanity.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has mocked the embattled former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu following his suspension from the party by his council ward in Benue State.
