Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable was on Monday, arraigned at the magistrate court in Ifo, Ogun State.

Recall that Portable was on Friday last week, arrested by the Nigerian Police Force after the 72-hour ultimatum given to him by the police to turn himself in, expired.

The police had said the singer will face more than six charges bordering on alleged assault in court.

Trouble began for the “Zahoo Zeh” crooner last week Tuesday after he resisted arrest by the police in Ogun State.

A video of the singer resisting arrest surfaced on social media in which Portable could be heard arguing that his arrest was “unwarranted,” adding that he makes his money “legitimately.”

He was also heard telling the police officers that he is “a federal government liability”.

Below is a video of Portable in court on Monday.

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that Portable had spoken from detention saying police is his friend and he trusts and believe in them.
