Tchidi Chikere, whose marriage to actress Nuella Njubigbo ended two years ago, revealed that he got married to his new wife in the United States some months ago and he wants friends and fans to know that he is “okay” and “happy”.
Taking to his Instagram page, the movie director shared photos of his new wife showing off her engagement ring, but he hid her face in the pictures.
He wrote, “Married! We did it here some months ago..just so my friends and fans know I’m okay and HAPPY. God is on the throne.
Had no idea my elder sister was screenshooting as wifey and I spoke to her on video calling..chai. candid picture.”

This is Tchidi Chikere’s third marriage after his first two marriages ended.
The movie director has three sons with his first wife, actress Sophia Tchidi Chikere, and the marriage ended in 2012. He got married to his second wife, actress Nuella Njubigbo traditionally on March 29, 2014 and the white wedding on June 9, 2018. They have a daughter.
In April 2022, after actor Yul Edochie announced he had married a second wife, Chikere hailed him and then got trolled for it.
Responding to a troll who told him he can’t keep a marriage, Tchidi said at the time: “My first marriage lasted 11 years, my second lasted 7 years until she took her things and sneaked out of the house.
“The problem with some of you women is you think you run the world because men don’t talk. Maybe one day I’ll tell my story if I feel I really need the love of one-track-minded people like you. Now get off my page or shut up.”
