Sani said the Imam spoke about what political office seekers are doing to him now that the polls are over.
According to Sani, who has become a sort of social commentator, the Imam complained that most of those who came to him for prayers and won their elections have stopped picking up his calls.
Continuing, the former lawmaker said the cleric added that those who lost at the polls have also stopped sending their financial contributions.
Shehu Sani wrote, “Today our Friday Mosque Imam complained that most of those who came to him for prayers and won their elections have stopped picking his calls; and those who lost have stopped sending their financial contributions.”
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that Shehu Sani reacted to the barrage of criticism that greeted the performance of Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage at the coronation of King Charles III of England.
