He stated this in a tweet on his official handle after he was sworn in as the state governor on Monday.
Umo Eno, who took over from Udom Emmanuel also called on all to come together so that they could chart a path towards a prosperous future for Akwa Ibom.
He wrote, “A moment of profound transition as former Governor Udom Emmanuel gracefully removes his official portrait, making way for mine as the newly sworn-in Governor of Akwa Ibom State. With deep gratitude, I assume this role to serve the people with utmost dedication.
“Together, let’s chart a path towards a prosperous future for Akwa Ibom State.”
While replying to a tweet by one of his citizens on his plans for small businesses, Eno assured that his administration will foster an enabling environment that will nurture and empower small businesses.
“We recognize that infrastructure is crucial, but we also acknowledge the need to create wealth and economic opportunities for all. Rest assured, we are committed to fostering an enabling environment that nurtures and empowers small businesses, driving economic growth and prosperity in our state. Together, we will create a thriving ecosystem for entrepreneurs to flourish.”
