KanyiDaily recalls that Happie Boys gained attention on social media in June when they called out Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere who had sponsored their education in Cyprus.
The duo, Matthew Precious Kelechi, and Amakor Johnson criticized the clergyman for ending their scholarship six months after their arrival in Cyprus and abandoning them in the foreign country.
In his defense, Apostle Chibuzor explained that he stopped sending them money due to the scarcity of dollars in Nigeria and suggested that the boys return to Nigeria or Benin Republic to continue their education.
However, Happie Boys declined the offer and expressed their preference to remain in Cyprus. They also apologized to the cleric and thanked him for his scholarship program.
In a new video circulating on social media, the boys taunted the clergyman for telling them that he had paid for their return tickets from Cyprus.
‘’Them nor born you OPM. Comot for there,” One of them said when a Nigerian man asked they if them will be returning back home as planned by the clergyman.
KanyiDaily recalls that Happie Boys were recently seen in a video entertaining guests at a club in Cyprus after they refused to return back to Nigeria.
