On Sunday evening, reports emerged online that AY Makun’s house was on fire, and videos of the incident were shared on social media, showing the extent of the blaze on the multi-million naira mansion.
As of the time of this report, the cause of the fire outbreak at AY Makun’s residence remains unknown. However, the officials of the Lagos State Fire Service were seen at the scene trying to quench the raging fire.
Although AY and his wife and kids were away on vacation overseas, many celebrities and fans of the comedian have sympathized with the comic actor and his family. They prayed that no life was lost while also asking God to replace his loss.
Taking to his Instagram page, Ayo Makun confirmed that his family was safe and gave gratitude to God for his protection, emphasizing the paramount importance of family and faith in his life.
Sharing a video of his wife and daughter, he wrote: “Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few.”
KanyiDaily recalls that in 2022, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, announced that he and his wife, Mabel Makun, had welcomed their second child, Ayomide, after 13 years.
