A video from the funeral of Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, has surfaced on social media.

KanyiDaily recalls that Wizkid’s aide confirmed the sorrowful news of his mother’s passing after a brief illness in the early hours of Friday, August 18, 2023.

Wizkid, who has taken a break from social media since the sad incident, is yet to comment or issue a statement about his mother’s demise.

However, a video circulating on social media showed the images of Wizkid’s mum, along with flowers, candlelights, and a condolence book dedicated in her honor.

Distinguished figures from all walks of life are anticipated to converge at Wizkid’s home town to pay their last respects for his departed mother.
