Daniel Regha Slams Josh2funny Over His Performance On America’s Got Talent [Video]

Nigerian social media critic, Daniel Regha has expressed his disappointment with popular comedian, Josh2funny for his performance on the America’s Got Talent stage.

The 32-year-old comedian, known for his YouTube skit titled “The Audition,” made history as the first Nigerian skit maker to participate as a contestant on the AGT reality show.

The official AGT Twitter account confirmed his audition performance by sharing a video clip of his comical act, captioning it, “Josh Alfred is not giving up! #AGT. This contestant won’t give up! Josh Alfred auditions three times.”

In his audition, Josh2funny delivered an amusing act that initially puzzled the judges, leading to a misinterpretation of his intended message. His performance featured him appearing thrice as the quickest reader, the finest magician, and the best rapper.

Josh2funny’s audition has continued to spark both applause and criticism among Nigerians on social media. While some commended his approach, others criticized him, arguing that he could have maximized the opportunity more effectively.

Reacting to his audition on Twitter, Daniel Regha criticized the comedian, deeming his performance on the global stage as a wasted opportunity.

Regha highlighted the tendency of Nigerians to overhype situations due to sentiment. He asserted that Josh2funny misused the America’s Got Talent platform by delivering a performance that neither entertained nor added value.

He wrote, “Nigerians will applaud anything as long as a Nigerian is getting the hype, & it’s beyond shamefu!. Josh misused the America’s Got Talent platform by wasting everyone’s time, which isn’t funny. Thousands audition each year but only a few get selected, so why waste the opportunity?”

KanyiDaily recalls that Josh2Funny recently supprised his beautiful wife, Bina Alfred, with a Mercedes Benz for marrying him.
