“You’ve To Pay $500” – OAP Toolz Reveals How She Stopped Her Mum From Joining Instagram

Nigerian on-air-personality (OAP), Toolz has shared how she playfully stopped her mother from joining Instagram.

Taking to her Instagram page, the media personality shared a screenshot of their conversation where her mother sought her advice on setting up an Instagram account.

In response, Toolz concocted a fictional scenario, claiming that creating an Instagram account involved submitting personal documents like a birth certificate and passport, coupled with a fee of $500.

She also told her mother that these seemingly elaborate conditions were a consequence of Elon Musk’s takeover of Instagram and his implementation of new regulations.

Toolz’s mother promptly had a change of heart upon hearing these supposed conditions, and she told her daughter to forget the plans to help her join Instagram.

Sharing their chat screenshot, the media personality explained her motives behind the playful deception. She humorously that she was only avoiding additional “fashion police” in her life.

She wrote, “God forgive me… A …but I don’t need extra fashion police in my life. ‘Tolu, why didn’t you wear shimi under that gown?’ Then again, she would probably fight the trolls for me.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Toolz Oniru had recently taken to social media to narrate how she escaped embarrassment at a public dinner due to a failed bank transaction.
