“Mohbad’s Mother Never Abandoned Him, She Only Left Him With His Father” – Late Singer’s Aunty [Video]

The aunty of late Nigerian singer, Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has refuted reports suggesting that his mother abandoned him during his childhood.

Following Mohbad’s death, reports started making rounds that the late singer’s mother abandoned him and his elder sister after her crashed marriage to their father.

In a video shared by Instablog9ja, Mohbad’s aunty clarified that the singer’s mum did not abandon them but instead left them in the care of their father due to an agreement between them.

According to her, Mohbad’s mother left her children in the custody of their father because he did not want her to take them away following their failed marriage.

She also highlighted how Mohbad’s mother supported him during challenging times, including his experiences with his former label boss, Naira Marley, and stood by him and his wife during the birth of their child.
