In a series of posts shared on social media, Abu Salami claimed that he paid a staggering N218 million to Davido to support a youth football project.
The photographer expressed his disappointment, pointing out that Davido not only backed out of the project but also refused to reimburse the funds.
He claimed to be facing intimidation from the singer’s legal team and associates, adding that singer also sent some thugs (30BG Crews) to beat him up.
Abu Salami explained that he had already paid Davido a substantial sum of N218 million out of a N326 million project.
He had even organized a nationwide tour across 20 states with an 11-member production crew to discover young football talents, only for Davido to withdraw from the project.
Salami revealed that Davido’s sudden cancellation incurred a significant loss of N42 million, and the singer has refused to refund his money.
He also mentioned his pleas to the singer to promote the project’s commercials, which had to be filmed in Davido’s garden due to stadium restrictions, but Davido ignored his requests.
The photographer said he didn’t only lose sponsors, but also facing lawsuit for failing to deliver the football project as initially envisioned.
In an attempt to support his claims, Salami shared what he claims to be screenshots of his conversations with Davido and videos depicting alleged assaults by the singer” associates on him and his team.
KanyiDaily recalls that Davido is set to replace the car of his signee, Logos Olori, who was involved in a ghastly accident on the Lekki-Epe expressway in Lagos.
