The fan, identified as @ZobaDeGreat, praised Mr Eazi in a social media post, suggesting that the singer, who recently married Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, had a low-key ceremony despite a net worth of “around $5 million.”
The fan also criticized people who desire extravagant weddings despite having less wealth, stating, “But you who do not have up to 2 million at home and abroad, want to host a grand wedding.”
“Mr. Eazi’s networth is around $5millon dollars. He just quietly married Otedola’s daughter. We no even know. Na because of his new song wey he release and the wife use style announce am, na how we take know.
“But you wey no get upto 2 million home and abroad, you want to host one in town wedding with your wife that is still second year student who doesn’t have money for departmental dues,” the fan wrote.
Responding to the post, Mr Eazi countered the claim, stating that the reported net worth of $5 million was “erroneously disrespectful” because his actual net worth far exceeds the mentioned amount.
Expressing strong disagreement, the singer further warned the fan to rectify the statement to avoid potential legal action for defamation.
He wrote, “The Evil Genius Net worth is not $5m that’s erroneously disrespectful! please correct yourself before I sue you for defamation!!”
KanyiDaily recalls that Temi Otedola recently expressed her love and admiration for Mr Eazi, describing him as the kindest and most genuine person she has ever met.
