JUST IN: Django Unchained star is dead

Keith Jefferson, the star of Django Unchained, died at the age of 53 following a battle with cancer, according to his co-star Jamie Foxx.

Jamie Foxx captioned a photo of himself and Keith, “Everything hurts right now.”

“Having a hard time looking through these pictures reliving the memories of us having a great time going to miss you man gonna miss you,” he continued. You’ve had an incredible soul ever since we met in college.

“God rest, I never imagined I’d have to see the words about my friend.” Keith, @keith.jefferson.”

Jamie said, “This one hurts.” Keith, you’ve been nothing but grace your entire life. Your heart is pure, and your love is unfathomable. You were an incredible soul. We’ll all miss you terribly. This is going to take a long time to recover. My friend, I bid you farewell. “I adore you.”

Fans flocked to the comments section to voice their support for Keith and Jamie.

“Keith had a way of lighting up a room and making everybody feel comfortable like family,” someone wrote. I’m hoping for the best for his family and friends. I’ll miss him terribly.”

Keith also appeared in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and The Hateful Eight, in addition to Django Unchained. He was obliged to put his career on hold.

Keith had uploaded an emotional post on Instagram to keep his supporters updated on his path, writing: “Every now and then God will give you a challenge and leave it up to you to fix it.” When I was first diagnosed with cancer, I had to take a step back and didn’t want to tell anyone. Neither my immediate nor extended family.

“Today, I’m finally at a point where I can share because my faith is growing stronger.” I have a wonderful family and the nicest friends on the planet.

“You are aware of who you are. From my mother to J.F.K., and everyone in between. I adore you completely. We are all cut from the same cloth, which is the human predicament. Remember, “faith is the last resort.”
