In a post shared on her Instagram page, Mabel Makun highlighted the challenges facing Nigeria, particularly the negative impact of the exchange rate on businesses.
The mother of two mentioned that rising prices and the economic situation were putting a strain on both businesses and ordinary citizens.
According to her, many parents are resorting to withdrawing their children from traditional schools in favor of home tutors due to financial constraints.
She lamented the difficulties faced by the average person in affording basic necessities, and called for solutions to the economic challenges and hardships being faced in Nigeria.
Mabel Makun wrote, “Never been this afraid for my country, Nigeria.
Exchange rate is killing businesses.
We are tired of increasing prices!
Business is now draining! An average common man can no longer afford a loaf of bread.

Basic needs are now luxury!
