Napoli have extended their talismanic forward’s contract by two years, keeping him at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona until 2027.
So far, the main sticking block has been a new contract and release clause.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Osimhen wants his income to be doubled in a new contract, from €4.5m net to about €9m net every season.
Osimhen’s supporters are also advocating for a suitable release clause.
Napoli’s offers have yet to get close to the €9 million salary mark, and they want to establish the release clause at more than €200 million, creating a big gap between the two parties.
