KanyiDaily recalls that Davido recently attracted attention on social media by liking a tweet that characterized Phyna’s fans as “useless.”
When phyna confronted Davido over his action, the singer apologized over his mistake, but he stated that he doesn’t know the reality star.
Amidst the controversy trailing their exchange, Tacha assured Phyna of her worth, pointing out that others recognized it even if Davido didn’t.
Tacha also expressed her dissatisfaction with Davido’s apology, deeming it insincere and arguing that it inadvertently exposed Phyna to more online ridicule.
Reacting to the drama, Daniel Regha expressed doubt about whether Tacha would have shown the same support if the person affected had been her rival, Mercy Eke.
He implied that Tacha might have ignored Mercy Eke in such a scenario, suggesting that Tacha’s expressions of love are insincere and her activism lacks authenticity.
According to him, the situation highlight what he perceives as fake love within the context of the reality show and criticizes Tacha’s form of activism as being pathetic.
Daniel Regha wrote, “Tacha standing up for Phyna seems like a good thing. But if Mercy was the hm Davido downgraded, would her support be the same? Obviously, No. The show is fake love & activism is beyond pathetic”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Christy O had also defended Phyna by shading Davido, saying it is only people who live under the rock that doesn’t now the BBNaija star.
