My Stepson And Jasmine Are Planning To Flee To UK As Couple – Mr Ibu’s Wife Claims

Stella Maris, the wife of the ailing Nollywood actor, John Okafor, known as Mr Ibu, has accused her stepson and adopted daughter, Chioma Jasmine, of plotting to relocate to the UK as a couple.

KanyiDaily had reported that Stella Marris and Mr Ibu’s adopted daughter, Chioma Jasmine are in conflict over the funds donated by well-meaning Nigerians for the actor’s failing health.

Popular Instagram blogger, Gistlover, reported that Mr Ibu’s wife desires to divert the donation funds to support her lifestyle, including purchasing an iPhone 15 and new cars.

Gistlover alleged that Stella had already managed to extract N1 million from the donation through her personal account.

An activist, VeryDarkman also alleged that Stella sought to divert the donated funds into purchasing a new phone and undergoing a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery for her own benefit.

In her response, Stella vehemently denied all the allegations, questioning VeryDarkman’s perception of her as callous enough to prioritize personal luxuries while her husband of 16 years is bedridden.

Expressing disbelief, Stella posed a rhetorical question to VeryDarkman, highlighting the absurdity of his claims. She emphasized her concern for her ailing husband and vehemently denied any intention to divert funds for personal gain.

Furthermore, Stella revealed that her suspicions arose when she requested an account statement from Jasmine to gain insight into their financial transactions. According to Stella, Jasmine provided inaccurate information, contributing to the escalating tensions between them.

Adding another layer to the controversy, Stella Maris alleged that her stepson and Jasmine are conspiring to relocate to the UK as a couple, further complicating the already contentious situation surrounding Mr Ibu’s health and the financial dispute within the family.
