Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has taken a swipe at the widely celebrated Ghanaian jollof, claiming that it lacks flavor.

Hilda Baci, who gained fame for breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time, expressed this viewpoint during a recent podcast featuring other Ghanaians.

She reinforced her argument by recalling a past Jollof competition between Nigeria and Ghana, in which she emerged victorious.

Reflecting on the competition, the Nigerian chef vividly remembered sampling the Ghanaian jollof and found it to be lacking in flavor.

Hilda said that she was confident that the dish she tasted represented the best effort of her Ghanaian competitor. She noted that based on her exploration of Ghanaian jollof recipes, they tend to be rather basic.

The chef further showered praise on Nigerian jollof, emphasizing that Nigerians are adept at infusing their dishes with rich and vibrant flavors.
