In a post shared on her Instagram page, Rita Edochie alleged that Judy Austin was asking her husband’s first wife, May Edochie, to drop his surname.
The actress, who didn’t mention names, raised questions about a lady allegedly “picked from the street” asking a legally married woman to drop her husband’s surname.
It is worth noting that May, who separated from Yul after he married a second wife, has continued to use the Edochie surname despite their split, potentially contributing to Judy Austin’s alleged dissatisfaction.
In her post, Rita Edochie wrote: “HMMMMM I REALLY DON’T GET IT 0000. HOW CAN YOU ASK A LEGALLY AND LEGITIMATELY MARRIED WOMAN TO DROP THE HUSBAND’S SURNAME WHILE YOU THAT IS PICKED FROM THE STREET HAVE THE RIGHT TO ANSWER HIS NAME? JEEEEESUS NO BE JUJU. BE THAT? ANYWAY KEEP PLAYING.”
