Kate Henshaw disclosed this during a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, on the “Season five episode 40: Unveiling the 150 most interesting people in the culture for 2023.’’
During their conversation, the actress expressed her admiration for Davido’s music but disclosed that she had a less-than-pleasant experience with him.
When asked about Davido, she said, “Well, I’m not a fan. I like his music, but personally, I don’t know him. I have met him, and he didn’t greet.”
Noting that she is old enough, the actress emphasized the significance of respect and politeness, regardless of one’s status, citing her own belief that age should instill these values.
Henshaw highlighted the influence of personality, acknowledging its power to attract or repel people.
Despite her personal encounter with Davido, she commended the singer for fearlessly representing and making positive contributions to the country.
“He is unapologetic, and he has flown the flag without fear or favor,” she remarked, highlighting Davido’s philanthropy, such as his donation of birthday money to orphanages in 2021.
Henshaw also praised Davido’s inclusion in the soundtrack of ‘Coming to America 2’ and expressed sympathy for him regarding the loss of his son.
