The blaze, said to have started at about 4:13 am on Wednesday, engulfed the highest floor of the supermarket, and the packing stores, and extended down to the staircases within the mall.
While the cause of the early morning inferno remains unknown, signs are pointing to the possibility of arson.
A mall staff member, speaking anonymously, mentioned that an unknown individual was caught hiding in the store in the early hours of the morning when efforts were being made to put out the fire.
The General Manager of the shopping mall has stated that an investigation has been initiated to uncover the origins of the fire and has pledged to release further details at a later time
