The defendant, a businesswoman standing trial for conspiracy and assault, resides at 33 Oluyeye St., Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos State. However, she pleaded not guilty.
The court was earlier informed by the prosecutor, ASP Raji Akeem, that the defendant committed the offenses on July 26, 2023, at her residence.

Akeem alleged that the defendant and her siblings, who are still at large, physically assaulted the complainant, leading to the loss of her pregnancy.
Akeem mentioned that the offenses violated Sections 173 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015
Chief Magistrate Mrs. Bola Osunsanmi released the defendant on bail set at N100,000, requiring two sureties of equivalent amounts. The case has been adjourned until February 22 for mention.
