The arrest occurred just three days following FCT Minister Nyesom Wike’s announcement of a N20 million bounty on Dahiru Adamu and Abu Ibrahim, both reportedly causing chaos in the nation’s capital through kidnappings and murders.
The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the arrest on Friday.
The PPRO stated that the suspect was apprehended during a raid by command operatives on two kidnappers’ camps near the border of Nasarawa and the FCT, via Kuje Area Council, on Thursday
The alleged kidnapper was stated to be the head of the kidnapping syndicate paraded by the Police Command on Wednesday.
Kanyi Daily recalls that Nyesom Wike had offered a N20 million bounty for the capture of two notorious kidnappers who are terrorizing Nigeria’s capital city.
