“This Is Stupidity” – Man Slams Comedian Sir Balo For Spending N300million On A New Car

A Nigerian comedian, Timothy Obotuke, popularly known as Sir Balo, has faced criticism from a social media user over his recent extravagant purchase.

On Sunday, Sir Balo spent N300 million on a new G-Wagon to commemorate his numerous achievements as a comedian.

Listing his numerous achievements, the comedian wrote: “Sirbalo studio, 10 good years of constant work. 7 YouTube channels. 5 YouTube awards. 15m followers on Facebook. You Guys made this possible. Thankyou for supporting us. Please celebrate with us!!”.

While his fellow celebrities congratulated him on his acquisition, a social media user expressed disapproval for Sir Balo’s decision to spend such a substantial amount on a car.

Describing it as foolishness, the critic questioned the kind of cars that would prompt someone to invest such a significant sum in one.

Stup!dity. Wonder what is so fascinating about cars that someone would spend such an amount on,” the man wrote.

KanyiDaily recalls that comedian OGB Recent also showed off his newly acquired multi-million naira Mercedes G-WAGON.
