“You’re Nothing Without Me” – Portable Drags Babymama Ashabi, Warns Laide Bakare [Video]

Nigerian singer, Portable has expressed his frustration with his baby mama, Ashabi, while also warning actress Laide Bakare for advocating cheating as an act of revenge.

In a video shared on social media, Portable questioned Ashabi’s loyalty and criticized her for allegedly being absent during challenging times when his wife, Bewaji, stood by him.

The singer emphasized that Ashabi’s relevance is predominantly linked to their past association, implying that he played a pivotal role in building her acting career.

He claimed responsibility for supporting her financially and playing a paternal role in her life, stressing that she would just be a skitmaker if not for his name.

Portable also cautioned Ashabi against speaking negatively about him and highlighted his significant contributions to her previously stagnant career.

The singer referred to himself as her benefactor and expressed disappointment in her perceived lack of respect for him as her husband.

He said: “If they remove my name from your name, you are nothing but a skit maker, I raised your d£ad career…You are ungr@teful..Where were you when my wife Bewaji stood by me when I had nothing…When I talk you don’t talk, I’m the one feeding and taking care of you, I’m your second daddy, why can’t you respect your husband like your daddy”.

In a live video, Portable criticized Laide Bakare for promoting retaliation in marriage in the case of infidelity, accusing her of endorsing destructive behavior that could jeopardize marital relationships.

The singer sternly warned Bakare to stay away from Ashabi, expressing concerns about her potential negative influence on his ex-partner.

He said, “For Aunty, whose identity I will keep under wrap went to do an interview saying if your husband cheats, you shouldn’t leave him but go outside and cheat. Is that good advice, you this Aunty that is acting film? I mustn’t see you with my wife acting film cause people like you will be giving her wrong advice and pushing her to do wrong things”.
