On Monday Morning, Abuja residents intercepted a truck loaded with foodstuffs in the De-Dei area, seizing and looting items from the vehicle.
In a viral video, suspected hoodlums were captured hastily walking along a busy road in Abuja with their plundered goods, mainly bags of grains, heading towards undisclosed locations.
The narrator in the video commented, “This is Dei-Dei, Gwagwa. The masses stopped some trailer loads of palliatives, and everyone is carrying bags of rice; they are carrying everything.”
This comes barely 24 hours after Abuja residents raided and looted a warehouse belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria (NEMA) on a Sunday morning.
