The arrests, according to information released on the anti-graft agency’s official X platform, formerly Twitter, occurred in the Badawa area of Kano metropolis
The EFCC stated that the operation was conducted following intelligence reports it received, which pointed to a syndicate actively involved in cyber-related crimes.
During the arrests, various incriminating items were seized from the suspects, providing insight into the nature and extent of their alleged illicit activities.
The information stated that the suspects are now in custody, with ongoing investigations aimed at gathering more evidence.
It also emphasized that the suspects will be promptly charged in court at the conclusion of investigations.
