In January 2024, Ruger announced his new record label, Blown Boy Entertainment, confirming his departure from D’Prince’s Jonzing World.
The singer accused his former boss, D’Prince, of using his earnings to fund new artists without informing him.
Taking to his Instagram page on Friday, June 7, Ruger shared his newly released two-track playlist, “Make Way” and “Luv Again.”
However, a fan named Efekoga criticized him, saying he hasn’t had any hit songs since leaving Jonzing World.
The fan wrote, “No hit since you left Jonzing.”
Ruger quickly responded, saying, “@efekoga no hit for Jonzing since I left Jonzing.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Ruger revealed that he left Jonzing World because the label got comfortable with their financial gains from his success, coupled with their inability to propel his career further.
