In a video posted on social media, Portable disclosed that it’s common for American citizens to carry guns as casually as they carry their phones in their pockets.
The singer said that those who came to welcome him in the country were armed, and he could feel the guns in their pockets when they hugged him.
Portable expressed fear that engaging in an argument with anyone could lead to violence and potentially harm him.
He, however, assured his fans to remain calm, emphasizing that he wasn’t afraid and that he was safe.
“People are using guns like phones here in America. It’s risky to argue with people out here. But don’t worry, my fans, I am safe,” Portable said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Portable also thanked Afrobeats superstar Davido for giving him a royal treatment in Atlanta, United States.
