The news was announced by social media critic Verydarkman who claimed that Blord was released after much pleading and crying.
KanyiDaily recalls that Blord was arrested on charges including cryptocurrency fraud, funding terrorism, and aiding internet fraud among other charges against his companies.
Verydarkman took credit for the arrest, saying he was upset with Blord for not improving his services despite complaints.
In response, Blord Group clarified that their CEO was not arrested but was invited by the police to help with an investigation, which he cooperated with.
BLord’s company also stated that Verydarkman had no influence over the arrest or detention of the tech guru.
Verydarkman later admitted he was not behind the arrest but revealed that a rich Igbo man filed a serious complaint against Blord, leading to his detention.
Verydarkman claimed Blord initially boasted about his influence but became quiet when faced with evidence that could lead to a 15-year prison sentence.
In a new video on his Instagram page, Verydarkman confirmed that Blord has been released on bail and will return to the police next week to address the charges.
Verydarkman mocked Blord for his previous claims of being influencial and emphasized that justice will be served.
Sharing the video, he wrote: “After much begging and cryyng blord is out and he will be going back next week to answer for all his @l.leged cr!m€ I believe the @npf_nccc will not compromise and Justice will be upheld, see you next week Mr influential.”
KanyiDaily recalls that BLord recently distributed 1200 bags of rice and gifted 4 cows to the people of his hometown in Anambra.
