The 68-year-old socialite disclosed this when she was on a family vacation in Aspen, which was documented in the latest episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
Jenner shared the emotional news with her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, and her daughters Kim, Khloé, and Kendall, explaining the significance of the surgery, and highlighting the personal importance her ovaries held to her.
“I wanted to tell you guys something. I went to the doctor and had my scan,” Jenner said tearfully during the episode.
“They found, and this just makes me really emotional, but they found a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary.
“Dr. A said I’ve gotta have my ovaries taken out, and I’m emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys.
“That’s where all my kids were conceived and that’s where they were grown, in my tummy. So this is a very sacred place to me.”
Reflecting on her role as a mother, Jenner added, “People often ask me what’s the best job I’ve ever had, and I’ve always said mum. The biggest blessing in my life was being able to give birth to six beautiful kids.”
During the episode, her daughter Kim Kardashian expressed her sadness over the news, stating, “I’m really sad.”
However, Kris Jenner reassured her daughters that she would be okay and concluded, “It’s a whole chapter that’s just closed.”
KanyiDaily had reported how Kris Jenner‘s relationship with her boyfriend Corey Gamble landed in the spotlight after being stirred by Kanye West who is known for making blunt statements.
