Davido and Odumodublvck gave fans an exclusive preview of the song during his birthday concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

In a statement, Davido described “Funds” as “a celebration of the hustle and the journey,” adding, “Working with Odumodublvck and Chike on this track was magic. They brought their own unique energy, and together we created something special.

“This song isn’t just about money – it’s about the mindset, the struggle, and the rewards that come with staying true to your grind. It’s a vibe that resonates across cultures. And with 5ive on the way, I’m bringing that same energy – African pride, global sound. We’re just getting started.”

“Timeless” was nominated for Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards, and its hit single “Unavailable” featuring South African singer Musa Keys became a fan favorite, landing at No. 3 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and earning a nomination for Best African Music Performance.
