Videos shared on his Instagram stories showed Davido stepping off a lavish ship on Friday when he arrived in Udaipur to a grand and royal-like welcome.
In one of the videos, flower petals were thrown at the singer, who appeared overjoyed by the royal treatment. He spun around in gratitude, clearly enjoying the warm reception.
During the wedding, Davido took the stage to perform some of his biggest hits, including “If,” “Unavailable,” “Feel,” “Awuke,” and his new song “Funds.”
Earlier in the day, Davido responded to viral rumors that he was paid $10 million (about ₦17 billion) for his performance at the high-profile event.
In an Instagram post, he seemed to brush off the figure, jokingly tagging the groom and asking, ” #AlkeshThavrani, were my balance?” when reposting the circulating report.
Davido also hinted in another post that he had already received his payment, but his playful tone left fans guessing about the true amount.
KanyiDaily recalls that Davido has announced the countdown to his much-anticipated fifth studio album, “5ive,” which will be released in 2025.
