During an appearance on “The Receipts” podcast, the 44-year-old singer spoke about her journey, saying that achieving success in her thirties instead of her twenties was part of God’s plan.
Tiwa Savage explained that what might have seemed like a delay was actually a blessing, designed to inspire women who may feel uncertain or doubtful about their futures.
The singer said she believes her story is meant to encourage others, especially young women, to stay hopeful and pursue their dreams regardless of their current circumstances.
She said, “I feel like God has done this on purpose. God delayed my success for a purpose. I used to be like, why wasn’t I successful in my twenties? I started succeeding in my thirties.
“It’s to bless other people. It’s to bless that 25-year-old girl who’s scared about what the future holds. If she opens my page and sees that I started in my thirties, she would be like, ‘I still have time.’”
KanyiDaily recalls that Tiwa Savage recently opened up about returning a Range Rover Sport gifted to her by a man on her birthday.
