The former bread seller became an internet sensation in 2019 when she unknowingly walked into a photoshoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah, which was captured by renowned photographer, TY Bello.
During her recent appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast, Olajumoke revealed that many of the opportunities she participated in were unpaid, contrary to what was publicly portrayed.
The model specifically shared her experience with popular singer Harrysong, alleging that she wasn’t compensated for her role in his music video for “Chacha”.
“I went to Harrysong’s house in Lekki, did a dance for him in his video. He claimed he paid me N400K according to a written statement, but it is false; I did it for free. He didn’t pay me anything,” she said.
Olajumoke also shared other instances where she felt taken advantage of, including one where she was paid only N200K for work that required international travel.
“They used me for work and didn’t pay me. One paid me N200K after taking me to South Africa for work,” she explained.
KanyiDaily recalls that Olajumoke Onibread recently launched her own radio show called “Kilon Shele” which will focus on her personal journey, including the difficult experiences she faced.
