KanyiDaily recalls that back in November 2023, Amaju Pinnick filed a ₦2.3 billion lawsuit against Davido for failing to appear at a paid event.
Pinnick claimed that Davido was paid $94,600 (₦72.5 million) for the performance at the “Warri Again” event, with a chartered plane arranged for him and his team.
He publicly criticized the singer for allegedly failing to honour the contractual agreement despite being paid a hefty sum and provided with a private jet for his crew.
The disagreement was eventually resolved when Davido performed for free at the 2024 “Warri Again” concert, whwre he delivered an electrifying performance that thrilled fans.
Now, the two appear to have moved past their differences.
In a video shared on Davido’s Instagram story, the pair could be seen enjoying a beach outing alongside Kayode Yajuar and another person.
KanyiDaily recalls that the court rejected the preliminary objections raised by Davido against Amaju Pinnick during their fallout.
