Mr. Macaroni recently declared that he would continue to ignore Sanwo-Olu, citing his painful experience with the Nigerian Police during the #EndSARS protests.
This came as a response to criticism from a social media user on X, who accused him of disrespecting the Lagos governor to appease his followers.
“To d’ifa fun a certain Macaroni who, in an attempt to please the mob, snubbed the governor of Lagos State. Omo ase,” the post by the user named John reads.
In his reply, Mr Macaroni made it clear that Sanwo-Olu holds no significance to him, highlighting his unresolved anger over being stripped, beaten, and humiliated by law enforcement.
The comedian also fired back at the critic, labeling them as a “slave” who defends their “master.”
“Baba laku Baba e ni Ase!!! I will continue to snub your Governor!!! He doesn’t mean anything to me, neither do you, your father, or your popsy’s father!
“I love that you slaves bring this issue up all the time. For every time you do, I will send you to your masters! Abunu!,” Mr. Macaroni wrote.
Reacting to the situation on his X page, Seyi Law defended Mr. Macaroni’s stance, stressing that Sanwo-Olu’s behavior at public events might justify Macaroni’s actions.
According to Seyi Law, the governor often pretends not to know him but seeks handshakes from Mr. Macaroni.
“Nobody should blame Macaroni for the way he speaks to Gov. @jidesanwoolu. Gov. BOS will see me and act like he doesn’t know me, but he will be begging Macaroni for a handshake. Everybody get out,” Seyi Law said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Mr Macaroni recently criticized Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Toke Benson, for allegedly assaulting a man.
