In a Facebook post, Yul Edochie argued that true Christianity is not about avoiding makeup, flashy clothes, or quitting habits like drinking and smoking.
Instead, the actor emphasized that being genuinely born again means treating others with love and respect, just as one would want to be treated.
According to him, God cares more about how people behave towards others than about their physical appearance.
He wrote, “Some people will tell you they are now born again. They stop wearing flashy clothes, stop wearing makeup, quit drinking and smoking, but the wickedness in their hearts remain untouched.
“Stop deceiving yourself, God is not interested in your style of dressing or all that, he’s interested in how you treat your fellow human beings.
“Being born again means living a Christian life, and living a Christian life means treating others with love and respect, same way you would want them to treat you.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie recently dismissed claims by some Nigerians that their struggles are caused by so-called “village people.
