Destiny Etiko Files N100m Lawsuit Against Queeneth Hilbert Over Alleged Defamation

Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has taken legal action against her colleague Queeneth Hilbert for alleged defamation, demanding ₦100 million in damages.

KanyiDaily recalls that Queeneth Hilbert recently accused Destiny Etiko of allegedly interfering in other people’s relationships.

However, in a recent development, Destiny Etiko responded by filing a lawsuit, which was announced through a statement on Instagram.

The statement called on Queeneth Hilbert to stop making defamatory claims and issue a public retraction within 48 hours. It also dismissed the accusations as false and damaging to Etiko’s reputation.

A portion of the statement emphasized Destiny Etiko’s status as a respected actress and social media personality, highlighting the impact of the allegations.

It referenced a specific Instagram post from March 6, 2025, in which Queeneth Hilbert allegedly made claims suggesting that Etiko manipulates people for personal gain.

The petition partly reads, “Our client is an actress, a public figure and well known social media personality with large following on the media space.

“Our client attention was drawn to your official Instagram publication on Queeneth Hilbert dated on 6th day of March, 2025. Wherein, you mentioned our clients and and alleged that our client,a reputable figure always has the prosperity of manipulating and engaging with individuals within your knowledge for the purpose of obtaining material benefits”.
