In an Instagram post, DJ Cuppy acknowledged that not everyone is beneficial to one’s well-being, and sometimes, creating distance is the best decision.
She shared her own experience of cutting ties with some people or having them leave her life.
While it initially felt scary, the billionaire heiress said she now sees it as a positive change that has helped her grow.
She stressed that protecting one’s peace is not an act of selfishness but a necessary step for self-improvement and emotional well-being.
Cuppy wrote: “Fasting from certain people is important… Not everyone is good for you, and sometimes, distance is the best thing you can do for yourself.
“I’ve removed certain people from my life, or they left me… it was scary at first but honestly, I feel like l’ve progressed so much because of it. Protecting your peace isn’t selfish o, it’s necessary.”
KanyiDaily recalls that DJ Cuppy recently opened up about the qualities she desires in a partner, days after publicly praying for her soulmate.
