In a short video making the rounds online, Natasha Osawaru could be seen preparing to address her fellow lawmakers when she introduced herself in a way that got people talking.
She said, “My name is Hon. Natasha Irobosa Osawaru nee Idibia,” sparking loud cheers and applause from her colleagues.
The development triggered mixed reactions on social media, with many users expressing surprise, while others speculated that the relationship might have already taken a serious turn.
This comes after Natasha added “Idibia” to her Instagram bio following actress Annie Macaulay’s decision to drop the Idibia name after her split from the singer.
Natasha Osawaru’s move also comes shortly after she was removed from her role as Minority Leader in the House, alongside Charity Aiguobarueghian, who served as Majority Leader.
