It was gathered that officers from India’s Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) became suspicious after spotting her behaving oddly around 3 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, in the Old MHADA area of Andheri West.
With the help of a female officer, police searched the suspect’s bag and discovered 30 capsules containing about 418 grams of cocaine.
During questioning, Yenna Christina Idowu told investigators she is from Ondo State, Nigeria, but currently lives in Noida, New Delhi.
Police have launched a deeper investigation to uncover the full network behind the drug operation, including where the drugs came from and who she was supposed to deliver them to.
She has been charged under various sections of India’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and is currently in custody as legal proceedings continue.
