In a video shared on his Instagram page, Scott Iguma said he was alarmed by what he saw when he visited the facility.
According to him, the gate and entrance alone reflected neglect, with the entire environment appearing rundown.
He wrote, “‘I visited the most disgusting looking primary health that the Lagos state government provided for newborns and children to take immunizations and vaccines.
This health center is not located in one creek or slum. It is very close to VGC and yet it is looking like a war zone. Later we will say Lagos is the New York of Nigeria”.
Iguma urged the Lagos Commissioner for Health to take immediate action to renovate the centre and make it safe and decent for mothers and children.
KanyiDaily recalls that the Lagos State Government recently called on members of the public to help identify a young woman filmed dumping refuse on a road.
