Sharing the list on X, Barack Obama said he was continuing a tradition he began while in the White House by revealing his favorite songs of the year.
He added that he hoped listeners would discover something new and invited people to send in their own music recommendations.
Burna Boy earned a spot on the playlist with his 2025 track “TaTaTa,” which features American rapper Travis Scott. The song appears on Burna Boy’s latest album, No Sign of Weakness.
Olamide also made the list with “99,” a collaborative track featuring Seyi Vibez, Asake, Young Jonn, and Daecolm. The song is from his recent album, Olamidé.
