“It Took Me More Than 7 Years To Make My First N1 Million As An Actor” – Eso Dike

Nollywood actor Eso Dike has revealed that it took him more than seven years in the entertainment industry to earn his first N1 million.

In an interview with Chude, Eso Dike spoke about the slow start to his acting career and the patience it took to reach that financial milestone.

A trained lawyer, Dike studied law at the University of Benin and completed the Nigerian Law School before fully committing to acting.

He started on television with roles in shows like Tinsel and later became better known for performances in The Smart Money Woman, Game On, and Ricordi.

Speaking in the interview, Eso Dike revealed that it took him over seven years in the entertainment industry to earn his first one million naira as an actor.

He noted that his early career moved slowly, but he stayed committed and focused despite the challenges of establishing himself in acting.

The actor said: “It took me more than 7 years to make my first 1 million Naira bulk as an actor.

“Like before I got one million naira, I mean one million naira, my brother it wasn’t too long again. But again, I am not a protrayer of suffering.

“So even if I’m suffering, you won’t know. But before I got one million naira bulk, it took some time. Probably eight or seven years.”
