VeryDarkMan posted a video on Instagram announcing that Burna Boy had donated ₦140 million to his organisation, the Martins Vincent Otse Initiative.
In the video, he showed bank receipts to confirm the transfer.
The documents indicated that the money was sent from Spaceship Collective, Burna Boy’s company, into the NGO’s Zenith Bank account.
The ₦140 million contribution exceeds the ₦100 million donation previously made by music executive Don Jazzy in October 2024.
In the video, VeryDarkMan said the funds would be used to help release inmates from prison and to pay medical bills for Nigerians who cannot afford treatment.
Sharing the video, he ssid the donation would silence critics and strengthen his movement, while praising Burna Boy for the support.
He wrote, “This one go pain them ooooo…THE CHOKING go double now, the cry go multiply….RATEL MOVEMENT,THE 4th ARM OF THE GOVERNMENT @burnaboygram NA MAN YOU BE.”
KanyiDaily recalls that in 2024, VeryDarkMan revealed that Don Jazzy donated the sun of the N100 million to his Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).
