Peller shared the incident on his Instagram page on Saturday, posting a video that showed the fire in the early hours of the morning.
In the video, the generator was engulfed in flames while Peller, clearly alarmed, called for help to put out the fire.
After what appeared to be a lengthy effort using buckets of water, the fire was eventually brought under control.
The generator was destroyed, but the house and its occupants were unharmed.
Sharing the video, Peller wrote: “This happened early this morning, my new generator almost burned down my new house, but God saved us. It took us over 30 minutes to put out the fire. All I can say is God saved us”.
The video quickly spread across other social media platforms, sparking discussions about safety precautions.
Fans rushed to the comments to express relief, praising quick action and luck for preventing a worse outcome.
At the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire has not been independently confirmed.
KanyiDaily recalls that Peller was recently hospitalized after crashing his new Mercedes-Benz during an emotional livestream.
